Adobe sells many plans, but most people end up choosing between two: the Photography Plan, built around Photoshop and Lightroom, and Creative Cloud All Apps, which includes everything Adobe makes. Picking the right one can save you a lot of money — or save you from discovering halfway through a project that the app you need isn’t included.

- All Apps: for video editors, designers, content creators, students and anyone who works across photo, video, design and PDF.

Note: in some regions Adobe now sells All Apps under the name Creative Cloud Pro. It’s the same complete suite.
Choose the Photography Plan if…
- You shoot photos and edit them in Lightroom, with Photoshop for retouching and compositing.
- You don’t edit video or design logos, flyers or layouts.
- You want the lowest cost for the two apps photographers use most.
For most photographers — hobbyists and professionals alike — the Photography Plan is all they’ll ever need. Get the Photography Plan for one month.
Choose Creative Cloud All Apps if…
- You edit video with Premiere Pro or create motion graphics in After Effects.
- You design logos, social media graphics or print materials in Illustrator or InDesign.
- You work with PDFs and need Acrobat Pro — it’s included, so you don’t pay for it separately.
- You’re a student or content creator learning several tools at once.
As soon as you need two or more Adobe apps beyond Photoshop and Lightroom, All Apps is usually the better value.
What if I only need one app?
Adobe also sells single-app plans. If the only thing you need is PDF editing, an Acrobat plan costs far less than All Apps. If you need Photoshop alone, the Photography Plan usually costs about the same as Photoshop on its own — and adds Lightroom.
